Plant Controller Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of day-to-day accounting functions related to the manufacturing operations. This includes plant general accounting, overseeing accounts payable & payroll data collection, property & inventory accounting, cost accounting, and preparing the annual budget. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with 5+ years of experience in a cost manufacturing accounting environment is required. A Master's and/or CPA is helpful. Requires thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, including cost accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and financial reporting. Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues; and automated accounting and manufacturing systems plus related report writer software. PC proficiency, with advanced levels of spreadsheet software and intermediate use of word processing software, is essential. An Equal Opportunity Employer.
