Job Description: GRANT WRITER The Department of Education, Executive Office, invites applications for an innovative, creative and experienced Grant Writer to help build a world-class education system in Louisiana. Under the general direction from the Deputy Superintendent of Education, this position facilitates research, development, review and editing of departmental grant proposals to seek opportunities for alternative funding sources at the federal, state, or local levels, or through other sources. This position requires an individual who has the expertise to collaborate with entrepreneurs, corporate business leaders or individuals interested in providing financing that are non-traditional to standard governmental sources.
